Jodpurs with pocket for phone?
adultcat · 06/01/2019 01:27
I wonder if anyone can recommend somewhere to get a ladies pair of jodpurs with the thigh pocket for a mobile phone please?
My horse crazy daughter is desperate for a pair and I'm clueless where to look!
Many thanks!

I find riding with my phone in a hip pocket really uncomfortable but got myself a pair of riding tights with a thigh pocket last year, and they are really comfortable. Mine were from Horseware and I think they would probably be too thin for winter riding but great for summer.

My decathlon riding tights were cheap as chips, are supremely comfortable and have a phone pocket that seems really secure, I have mine in it for lessons etc and it’s fine

If your daughter rides out it may be worth looking at arm bands where the phone can be worn to the inner arm. In the event of a fall it's highly likely a phone in a thigh pocket will be damaged meaning she may not be able to call for help.

My daughter has the florescent vest with the pocket at the front for the phone, she used to have a strap on leg one, and found it's easier to drop the phone the lower it is to start with, and if you fall off you're least likely to damage it.

Have a look at Super X Country, all the girls at our yard love their gear! Got DD women's riding tights from them for Christmas, phone pocket and are gorgeous! Great quality too. DD is 11and tall, she's in a women's size 10, they come up small.

I use a waist belt thing from Horze like a bum bag basically. It's about £7 so much cheaper than riding tights and waterproof too
