Leaving the light on

Just popped out to see ponies, DH has left the light on again, he always does. I think it should be off, they're in a big stable/field shelter, seperated by a gate. Do yours overnight in the light or dark?

Dark of course. Why would the horses need the light on? They have better night vision than us anyway.

They live out, so it's dark! As it would be if they were in the wild.

Always dark - they need their rest as well!
