Just moved yards and been asked to do a few days part livery for a friend, so muck out, haynets, turn out, bring in, feeds etc, friend willing to pay but wondering how much people charge per day ? I was thinking £10 a day but not too sure !

How many horses? If it's one, £10 seems reasonable. Where I am freelance grooms charge that per hour. Is this the yard your own horse is on so no extra travel costs? I say it's reasonable - it doesn't really reflect the time and responsibility, but IME realistically you can't charge much more.

We currently pay £280 a month.

To clarify that is for two feeds a day (we make them up) two haynets being given, access to two outdoor arenas, one large indoor arena, four scratch pits, cross country course in summer, and summer turn out.

Mucking out is £5 a day, taking horse in and out is £5 a day.

I pay £10 a day for this

£20 per day

£10 seems far too cheap , I would say it's always more involved than you think - turning out and bringing in will involve picking out hooves and changing rugs at the very least
