jodhpur shopping...

I’m looking for warm jodhpurs (preferably pull-on/stretchy) with a pocket (doesn’t need to be too big, just to hold small stuff like a tissue/£20 note). Budget up to £50. Any suggestions? I’ve found some nice Dublin ones, but not a pocket any where.

I swear by my Decathlon ones. Cheap as chips but so comfy, thick and have a pocket. About £10 if I remember right.

Avon Equine / Discount Pet Supplies (same thing) - cheap as chips, warm, stretchy, small pocket for tissues, cash and keyring torch in my case. Got a 2nd pair soon after the first, genuinely brill. Wash perfectly, no shrinking or bagging.

I use the Equetech Thermal Underbreeches, as they are cheap and I can wear them under my existing favourite breeches. Plus laying up seems to stop me getting chilblains! www.equetech.com/equestrian-clothing/mens/thermals/

Got mine from Go Outdoors, they are Ellen Whitaker. Really comfy and warm too.

DD has/had some Gallop ones that are very stretchy, cheap and quite thick. I have inherited them and wear them with thermal leggings underneath. Extremely cosy!
