Another boots one, sorry. Warm, not crazy expensive.

About a year ago I got cheap Decathlon rubber boots for a possibly one off lesson, not knowing if I'd get back into it. Fast forward one year and my feet are getting pretty cold in the Decathlon boots, even in three pairs of socks. The cold comes through the sole in particular when I'm walking around the yard.

Any suggestions for warmer/thicker soled boots? I find shorter boots more comfortable to ride. I'd rather not spend a fortune.

Warm ones are not cheap. I like Ariats, also Mountain House are good

The gutting thing is I had some Mountain Horse boots years ago and I got to the point of thinking that I would never ride again and just gave them away. I did love them so I might look again.

I have Mountain Horse snowy riders. The tall ones. They're the difference between painful feet when I dismount and land on the ground or warm snuggly toes and no pain. Well worth the money - you just need to find a 20 or 25% discount code!

I love my aAriat Bromonts- I've had mine for 7 winters now, I do muck out in wellies and thick socks as it's the urine which wrecks leather.
