Pedigree tracing

Today I traced my connie's pedigree back as far as a horse born in 1665! It's amazing that there's all those genetics and history in there. I wonder which horse made him scared of bright things Grin
Has anyone else's horse got a far back pedigree?
This is my first that is actually a recorded breed so it's all so fascinating what I can find!

I wish researching family history was as easy.

I can trace my Welsie back to 1665 too, the Darley Arabian appears in 1700 in his dam's sire line!

Ah mine is the Helmsley Turk who was around in 1665ish, also Arabian! This is his sire's line and from around 1910 backwards there were a lot of TBs involved which goes back to Helmsley Turk, it's so interesting!

Umm I managed to find some info somewhere, it said on the pedigree site Arabian but it could also be TB.
