Adjustable riding helmets?

We have one pony and two horses and often have kids coming to ride them. This is in an arena or on a gentle off road hack and usually on the lead rein as the other kids have rarely ridden.

I have always bought champion skull caps for my kids but we struggle when we have extra kids.

Has anyone used adjustable helmets? I was thinking of getting one or two for visitors to use. I can't afford skull caps in every size or duplicates. Our local stables has some but I have been reading that they are not as safe. They also all have peaks (which I have always been confused about safety wise)

Any thoughts?

I am totally befuddled by the safety standards. I can't find a PAS adjustable helmet. Are they rubbish anyway?

I know it's more expensive but they only have one head! I personally wouldn't touch adjustable hats. Hats need to fit your head perfectly to work!

I’ve just bought out toddler ab Uvex adjustable. It is pony club legal, vg1 and bs Kitemarked safety standards.

He sits on a super safe pony that walks round the school.

Yes they meet the safety standards, looking at it up close, would I want to send my older one out doing jumping/on the road in it, no probably not. But I’m happy with it for now for a toddler on a lead rein with another adult holding him.
