Buying new grooming stuff - Haas?

Any recommendations for brushes please?

Large cobby type with feathers and long tail and mane.

Will be living outside except in coldest weather but currently has hunter clip as stabled.

I seem to remember someone recommending Haas brushes on Facebook. Are they as good as everyone is saying?

I've got the grey pack for my (mostly white) coloured. They're great quality and the best brushes I've ever used...but they're not magic and they're no substitute for a bath. A good scrub with the schimmel does get most stains out but it takes some elbow grease and doesn't get the pee stains off his legs completely. So, I'd definitely recommend them but don't expect quite what it says on facebook I'd say

Thanks for that very useful feedback EyelopsOwl much appreciated.

Ooh I desperately need new brushes. Will Google them

I’ve got the chestnut pack, best brushes I’ve used. My lad is very sensitive but loves being groomed with the Haas brushes, especially the curry comb.

Thanks Polkadotties you've convinced me! Grin

I've got the chestnut pack. They're not cheap but amazing. My horse loves his face being groomed with them but not any other type of brush! Highly recommend :Smile

Thank you User14486.... I must admit I am gulping a bit at the price ... . But good to have another recommendation!

I bought a single bay body type one which has a lambswool centre- was £25 inc postage from someone who does them on FB. I love it!

Thanks Baldrick ; I think my cc is going to take a good bashing Grin

Damn you all!!! Grin

I've been ogling these brushes for ages, so nearly bought the box at Olympia last year...

I'm going to have to do it now!

(If I can wait till Windsor horse show!)

I know Brokeandbad I was half hoping people would say "they are useless, don't bother"! Damn!
