Gloves for stable work

Any recommendations please? Not for riding but mucking out. Brrr!

I use thermal builders gloves, they have a waterproof coated palm and fingers and aren’t too bulky for undoing rugs or haynets. Sealskins are supposed to be brilliant but pricey, I lose too many gloves or the dogs run off with them for to try them
