DD (12) has just started helping out at her stables on a Saturday. Any tips re clothing to keep her warm?

Guessing tights under jodhpurs?
Someone suggested neoprene wellies...what's the difference between them and muck boots?

All tips welcome to keep a pony mad girl warm.

DD (14) doesn't feel the cold when doing the ponies - especially not riding them..

She just wears a zip up water resistent jacket which is quite tight fitting so she can get her body protector over the top.

Just jodphurs - nothing under them. She always wears long boots to ride in.

Riding gloves of course and she has fleece ear warmers on her helmet. They really seem to make a difference.

As regards footwear she has Le Chameau wellies with neoprene lining and ioves them. She either wears her wellies or long leather boots to ride so doesn't have a pair of muckboots. They may be good though if your DD is doing a lot of wet and mucky chores like mucking out etc.
