Little filly about 16 months old, about 110cm and quite light boned. Feeding her tiny portion (maybe half a mug) of coarse mix twice a day to keep her handled etc. Would it be better to give her stud cubes, or something else? She looks in excellent condition

Best bet is to ring one of the feed helplines. They can give you proper advice.

Ring topspec, they are fab.

I fed my highland filly TopSpec stud balancer, ready grass and high fibre nuts with as much hay as she could eat. If I had needed more calories I would have used oil. Better than starchy feeds for their metabolism apparantly.

Depends what condition she is in. But I definitely recommend a balancer for growing babies.
