Helloo all,
I have an interview (only as a poo picking dogsbody but it would mean so much to me) with an equine rescue charity next week and I am very excited and nervous! I have a fair few years of experience working with green horses and sadly with some neglected horses too, but I have not horsed at all for three years, and I'm a bit worried that I won't get the job because of my rustiness.
I do understand that if I am rusty that I may not be the best person for the job, and these horses deserve the best possible care available, and that may mean I don't get the job. However, I am a calm, safe and reliable pair of hands and a hard worker and I'd like to put myself forward in my best light. There is an interview and then some jobs to do in the yard to assess my capabilities. My question to you all is what should I be brushing up on in the next few days? I have been quick release knotting all over the house and have picked out my boyfriend's feet every morning and evening for the past week! What other silly things do I know but haven't thought about since I've worked on a yard?
