Hat brands for long narrow head shapes

DD and I both need new hats. Mine is an elderly GPA and the best fitting hat I've ever had. DD has a Harry Hall, which I don't think was the best buy for her and the next size up is still too big though her current hat is too tight. Both of us have head shapes that are long front to back often leaving a gap at the sides of the hat and therefore pinching at the forehead to avoid it being too wobbly. Can anyone suggest what hat brands suit this shape best - we aim to go to the Highland Show in the summer when there should be lots of different brands to try on. Thanks

We have that situation and certainly worth trying Champion brand hats. However best if you go somewhere with a good variety..

DD1's head is like this. I bought a Uvex as they are adjustable. However they are not allowed for PC XC or games which is a bugger. Someone told me that Charles Owen will make to measure? Worth a try? I've not had much luck though and I've looked high and low.

Try everything on in the shop! I have a Charles Owen Pro 2 and that fits really well with a bit of extra padding inside. I also hve a long narrow head.
