Ripped fly mask - can I take it back?

Hi,

I bought a fly mask for about £17.50 and put it on my daughter's pony at about 6pm. When we went back at 9am the next day the mask was on the ground and ripped from one ear to halfway across the forehead.

She did this to her last fly mask (exactly the same mask) but after a year of wear. She had the same mask the year before that as well but she didn't break that one, we replaced it because it had got too revolting to wear.

So, can I take it back? I'm not sure whether it's a problem with the mask or that she's just found a really good way of destroying them. What do you think?

She sounds a bit like my dpony, or more apt, destroyer, escape artist, battering ram! I don't think they'd take it back to be honest. Ponies are such trouble at times....

Thanks feezap. My husband thought I should take it back and say it's not fit for purpose but I think they'd say it's just one of those things so I'm just going to leave it. Flipping expensive!

You can try, but I wouldn't be surprised if they say no
