Just a bit of backstory first. We have a field which we let for grazing. It was previously owned by my DM and we have inherited it. Unfortunately when the girl who has three horses first came to the field she asked DM if she could move in a caravan. Poor DM was in her 90s at the time and agreed. This caravan has been pushed into a corner of the field by a lean-too shelter for the horses. She told me a week or so ago she was moving away and would be leaving in a week or two. My first thought was to remind her she needed to get rid of the caravan which she promised she would. We have had someone in the field measuring up for a horse shelter where the lean-to is and he informed us not only does the caravan not have wheels but there is loads and loads of stuff dumped behind it including television, old wheels etc.
I really don't believe she has any intention of removing the caravan or the junk. I think we will have to bite the bullet and get it towed away at our expense. Meanwhile she says she is not ready to leave yet. We really need her out of the field by 2nd June as we have a fencer lined up to put in a new fence.
Texts have been going backwards and forwards. Normally I am quite lenient but she has really broken so many rules and the field looks like a junk yard with bits tied to the fence etc. Also she and her friend were riding in the field when they know its grazing only.
I would really like her to go this weekend. The field is padlocked and unfortunately we do not have the key, she does. I feel like replacing her padlock with one of ours so at least we have some control.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
