I have posted this already but I need to shout from the rooves! I have found a dip in my confidence lately and today I found my brave pants and left the ground for the first time in over a year - yay me :)

Well done you!

Now keep um on! Wink

Love it when something goes well and you have the need to scream it! Smile

Bonkey - now to improve :)

I love my little piece of heaven. I am lucky enough to have my horses at home. I was living in a 2 bed terrace and had two on assisted livery because I work shifts. I worked out, for what I was paying I could rent my house out, and then rent a yard with a house for the same amount. So I now have a 4 bed farmhouse with 16 acres, 5 stables and a school. It's amazing! Hay costs me nothing now either as a farmer cuts my fields for me and takes half in payment - I got 24 large bales last year and still have 8 left :)

The horses kinda multiplied though and I now have 4 eek ;)

Lovely picture! I hope the confidence keeps on growing.

AuntieDee · 29/04/2015 15:00

Tanks velociraptor :) there are very few pictures of me riding as I tend to rip my position to shreds. It's far from perfect but I am happy with it. It's one of only 3 pictures in existence of me jumping - and I put it on the Internet lol

Well done you - onwards and upwards!

I'm with you on photographic evidence, there are loads of me around and about and either I'm unhappy with my position/face, or horse looks awful! I've found one recently which when I get a moment I'll scan and put up. My brave pants were very firmly hitched up as it was teamchasing this spring - my first foray into this and absolutely terrifying (but great fun once you'd done it).

AuntieDee · 30/04/2015 10:33

Oh my instructor is talking about trying team chasing - sounds like great fun and good to make the horse and also rider braver as you can take a lead I guess.

giraffesCantPluckTheirEyebrows · 17/05/2015 17:20

OOh goodness I have never jumped! Well done you!

I was about to start jumping as a teen when I left and went down the dance route!

Just starting back as an adult with trotting now.

eeek!

AuntieDee · 18/05/2015 21:57

ememem84 Well done! The buzz of doing it well worth the fear eh??

giraffes - glad you have taken up riding again :) Keep us updated with how it goes :)

Yes!!! Can't wait until I actually get to do it properly - ie when I want to....!!

But it was amazing. Only a small wee jump about a ft. But still. I'd previously only done trotting poles.
