Pony on hols

We would like to take our pony on holiday with us. The place we are thinking of is around 45 mins from our home. For those who have done this do you have any tips/advice?

Tips and advice on what? Sorry your post is a bit vague. I often travel my horses up to 3 hours to local events and have travelled them up to 10 hours with an overnight stop off. If you post what advice you would like it would be easier to repond.

Sorry about that :-) never taken him on hol before and guess I am a bit worried. We taken him to shows and he is a great traveller. When we get there any advice on settling him in etc. think I am just after some reassurance really that a change of scenery won't stress him to much and if anyone has done this have they encountered any problems?
