Black. Without a shadow of doubt.

balancingfigure · 16/04/2015 22:32

I agree, black will probably be best!

Sparky05 · 17/04/2015 06:35

Def black

lavendersun · 17/04/2015 06:36

Havana on dark bay here, I did start off with black but the switched to Havana when we started doing more showing.

Bonkey · 17/04/2015 11:32

I have a bay and I have black tack.

He is dark in winter and bright in summer.

Butkin · 17/04/2015 12:01

Not sure what you're planning to do with him but if you plan to show him then brown saddle and bridle...

glittertits · 17/04/2015 12:05

1 million % black.

ReallyBadParty · 18/04/2015 22:32

Thanks all! Will try black, no showing ambitions. Such a help on here Smile

Havana on everything. I'm a traditionalist. My very expensive black saddle eventually turned a strange shade of dark green after 3 years of hard use. I bought the same saddle in havana, and nearly a decade later it still looks fab.

lavendersun · 19/04/2015 20:21

Me too, I ended up with black because my very fussy saddler was not happy to sell me the havana saddle he had had made for my horse but had an almost new used black one that fitted perfectly.

Fine enough, but once I knew that she had stopped growing I had another one made, that he was happy with. Still have the black one though, with about 10 years of dust on it.

Black x
