Best make of jodhpurs

My DDs have been riding for a year, bought some jodhpurs about 3 months ago from a saddlery and they're already worn away to holes at the knees, they're only worn for 45 mins a week! Do you have a make you recommend? Thank you!

I've always liked Harry Hall jodhpurs and found they last longer than other brands. The colours tend to be quite plain though - beige, black and navy.

Also have a look at denim jodhpurs. I have always found them to be a bit more hard wearing that normal ones.

They make extra long sizes too (very useful for my long-legged dd!)

Last for ages and I have sold lots on because they wash and wear so well

I have a couple of Harry Hall pairs that I bought when I started riding again in my thirties, must be at least 17 years old and I still wear them, and they have only 'worn' where they got a hole when I was bucked off out on a hack (which has been sewn up)
Also like Dublin, although they don't seem to last as long as the old Harry Halls and are a bit thick for summer

I've got a pair of Harry Hall cord jodhs that are over 30 years old. They still look great, no holes at all. I've got some denim ones atm (think they are JustTogs) and they are wearing really well. Also they don't seem to need washing as often as ordinary ones .

Must admit even the Aldi ones haven't been too bad considering how cheap they are. I've just binned a pair after several years, not because they were worn out but because they'd really faded (brown, went a bit blotchy eventually).

Yes pixel - forgot about just togs. I've got a 15 year old pair of just togs. They've faded a fair bit but still going strong with no holes.

Saddle master ones and just togs. Bought shires jods cheaply for my dcs and they all got holes after a month or so

I only wear Cavallo jodphurs, they're expensive but ver hard wearing. I've had the oldest pair for 5 years and whilst they've faded, the stitching is still good & they're so comfortable. I do also like to ride in skinny jeans.

Harry Hall for everyday - the cord ones are fab.

I would suggest the best jods for children are from Showing Selection but they are expensive and really only if you're going to take riding - and competiting - seriously.
