Saw this video. Am I being an old misery guts in wondering why a novice is being given a lesson in a vast open field on what looks very like an ex racehorse? (My view might be slightly coloured by the fact that my nerve has mostly gone and if it happened to me I would die of fright). To be fair Agnew doesn't seem that bothered.
(also I thought that bridging the reins was supposed to stop a strong horse from pulling you forward and unbalancing you if it's taken hold, rather than the opposite).
