6 Frankel Foals Selling Today!

I thought I'd start a thread to remind people that 6 Frankel foals go under the hammer at Goffs today. They are:

Lot 800 - 14 b f Frankel / Song
Lot 885 - 14 ch f Frankel / Discreet Brief
Lot 886 - 14 gr c Frankel / Dookus
Lot 897 - 14 ch f Frankel / Finsceal Beo
Lot 912A - 14 b f Frankel / Guessing
Lot 938 - 14 b c Frankel / Lahaleeb

Lot 800 should be in the ring at about 12pm with the expected sale topper, Lot 897, in around 4pm.

You can watch the sale live on the Goffs website, though be aware there will be a high volume of traffic!

Thanks for posting this; there was one withdrawn by my mares sire as didn't make enough. Crazy money when they come out the other end worth under a grand..!

First one didn't meet reserve!

Thanks for posting, I was out at DD's swimming lesson! €375,000 unsold, I'm guessing they probably had a reserve of €500,000 on her.

I should have asked before, who is your mare by umbongo?

Lot 885 makes €550,000

886 was withdrawn. 897 will be in the ring shortly.

912A was withdrawn

938 failed to meet reserve with bidding stalling at €650,000

Lovely video - just love the clips of him in his paddock being a normal horse. He's so beautiful to look at.

He's just as gorgeous in the flesh. The kind of horse that even those who know nothing about horses will think "wow"!

Sorry only just seen your reply; she is by Royal Applause. A kinder and smarter temperament you couldn't get anywhere; she is an absolute cracker and even my Warmblood orientated dressage instructor has gone from looking at her before our first lesson and saying I should get a different mount if I was serious about it to admitting 3 months on that she has been telling all of her clients how wonderful and what a trier the little TB mare is that she rides!

4 more selling today at Tattersalls in Newmarket, one filly and three colts. They'll probably go through the ring this evening.

The filly was led out unsold at 140,000
The second colt made 350,000
Final colt goes through the ring in the next half an hour
