It does work!
Just found out accidently on another thread when linking to Youtube vid that the videos come out on here the same way as the photos do!

This is so exciting SmileSmile

(yes I know I need a life but humour me).

He's gorgeous, and that jump! Bet he's exhausting to ride though, I'm worn out just watching him.

All I've got is this one, .

I imagine looked is right since dpony is 25 next month.

She's sensible? Are you sure she's welsh?Grin. Is she for you or daughter, or to share? And I'd say nicely rounded rather than podgy . She is a growing girl you know!

I expect it'll seem funny having a mare won't it?

daughter (but someone will have to hack her, it's vital to her wellbeing Wink) it will be odd won't it? haven't decided whether to turn her out with ours (there's another one in our field would have to check with the owner, there is also an evil cow that I am terrified of) or with the sheep or make a new area for the three of them or some other options Confused but there is no shortage of grazing, unfortunately

I realise on face of things a young orange welsh mare might not sound like the unquirky pony of our dreams but, and obviously time will tell, she seems to have such a great brain. Obviously very green but she seems so sweet and willing, prob a bit ploddy for me but I'm not getting any younger and will appreciate that one day?

Do we have an awful teenage phase to look forward to? rodeo boy is fittening up a bit and as soon as you ask for canter (and even trot sometimes Hmm) he rodeos. Am thinking the worst case scenario can't be as annoying as him?

Pixel · 20/04/2014 20:22

I didn't intend to buy a youngster but since my previous pony was given to me because no one else wanted him (he'd learnt every trick in the book and was the most nappy pony ever), in the end I thought "an unspoiled youngster, how can that be worse?"
Have to say we did get a teenage stroppy phase still, I don't suppose you can really avoid it, but at least any mistakes were ours not somebody else's. It's a lot easier to nip something in the bud than cure an ingrained problem like rodeo impressions.

Your getting older comment made me laugh. My sister has always had slightly mad welshies but she told me the other day she won't have one next time round, she'll go for something a bit steadier Grin.
