Equestrian clearance is probably out best bet, Tesco do jodhpurs too
With hat, go to a reputable shop and have it fitted. Everything else can be cheap but no worth risking it with hats
How exciting!!

Envy I haven't been on a horse for nearly 20 years (and I never will again, my back wouldn't take it) but I was in Decathlon with DD (she was buying a leotard). They had a whole aisle of horsey apparel , I just walked up and down and imagined getting back on a horse.

To your hat, jodhs and boots, I'd add gloves.
Blistered hands

I remember seeing an article a couple of years ago about the Queen loaning some highland ponies to a centre for equine therapy. Apparently riding bareback does wonders for lower back pain Smile.
