Help - it's pony club camp next week and the zip's gone on my 6 year old's jodhpurs. Any suggestions of good mail order places??

equestrian clearance website maybe?

\link{http://www.equestrianclearance.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/c/Childrens/Childs-Riding-Wear/Childs-Jodhpurs/\children's jodhs page}

they have a \link{http://www.equestrianclearance.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/c/Clearance/Riding-Wear/Jodhpurs\clearance section} too (limited sizes/colours though)

Tesco used to do "value" beige jods for £10 which were actually really good

ilovevenice · 01/08/2013 14:04

Thank you - that looks perfect!
Any thoughts on how sizing works now?! I imagine the inch measurements are waist sizes. Inherited the last pair so haven't had to buy them before...

No idea about sizing but from customer posts on the site their customer service is very good so I would ring them with your DC's height etc & ask them what size to get.

needastrongone · 01/08/2013 17:19

Just a thought but you might need more than one pair. DD is going to senior camp this weekend, the list we have states 2/3 pairs of cream then additional coloured jods for non competition/training aspect. I am aware junior camp will be different but just a thought.

needastrongone · 01/08/2013 17:21

Sorry, DD is a slim (not thin) 12 year old, tall for age (usually one size up clothes) and wears a size 26, but I think her stuff in this size is actually looking quite small now if that helps.

JumpingJackSprat · 01/08/2013 17:24

Sports direct do jodhs

CMOTDibbler · 01/08/2013 17:56

Equestrian Clearance are brilliant, and really speedy delivery. My ds would need several pairs to keep looking nice, but he is a grubby urchin. He only has pale jods for occasion wear (like the ds and pony photo session we had the other week)

Butkin · 01/08/2013 22:03

Yes there is no way DD could keep one set of jods clean for more than a day! We second (or third!) Equestrian Clearance...

ilovevenice · 02/08/2013 01:07

I think he may have to use the ones with the broken zip as his spare pair. They come home at night so I can always do a wash if necessary. The Tescos ones looked great but they were out of stock in most sizes. I think my problem may be getting small enough ones - he is quite skinny! Anyway will get on the phone tomorrow as not at work - thanks all!
