my 4 yr old ID gelding has recently developed windgalls on his hind legs around his tendon sheaths was wondering if anyone has any experience of bringing them down? I know they will never disappear but they r huge! so huge they r clearly visable on his big chunky legs :(

we've been using a cooling gel, amazingly good stuff, will check which one

friend has been using cooling boots and now bandages with some ridged gamgee (sp?) pieces

bit of an epidemic at our place, we are either wallowing in mud or the ground is like concrete Hmm

We used to cold hose them back in the olden days when our first pony had them.

the gel we use is called ice blue, it's witch hazel arnica menthol and other stuff

has helped our sturdy pony anyway

Oh well, the old methods aren't always the best! and that cooler gel stuff is gorgeous, I love the smell
