Riding Boots with the narrowest/slimmest leg

DD(13) has enormous quite large feet for her age. I think she is really a 9 but she claims to be an 8 1/2. She has been wearing a pair of size 6 riding boots (they fitted her when we bought them - honest!) which have given up the ghost as the sole has come away and they leak. All the long riding boots she has tried on are far too wide on her leg, and sometimes too long as well.

Anyone out there with large feet and slim calves who can recommend a well fitting boot?

She is currently wearing jodphur boots and chaps but moans constantly about taking them on and off - but at least it forces her to change into her wellies for mucking out.

I'd say boots and chaps/gaiters.

Rectlinge (sp) are narrow and moutain horse do a narrow fitting but these are about £200 unless you can find a second hand pair on eBay.

I have Toggie long boots, I'm a size 8 with narrow calves (and long legs) and they're a good fit on me. They were about £80.

She tried some of those on 50 - I thought they looked great but she still reckoned they were too baggy round her leg, and they were also a bit long ie cutting into the back of her knee.

sigh

I think she will have to continue with the chaps for now, and at least it means she changes into her wellies for the mucky jobs.

Thanks both for your replies.
