Ran into some people that I had only met once several weeks ago, and was having a lovely morning tea with them. Upshot of the meeting was that one of the ladies there offered for me to ride her 16hh palamino quarterhorse! I was quite shocked as I haven't known her that long. She lives about 1hr from me, and I'm going to give her a call next week to arrange a time to go (probably next week).
The funny thing was, I was thinking about finding a horse to ride once or twice a week, and this literally fell into my lap. What's that saying about 'don't look a gift horse in the mouth'? 
V v v excited!!! Apparently the horse is a very nice 7 year old pally that isn't getting enough work, but who loves getting ridden.
Can't wait!
