How to cut rubber stable mats?

Does anyone know if these can be trimmed, and if so, how? It's actually for my chicken shed not a horse stable, shed is just under 6x4 feet so I think I will need to trim a bit off the edge each side, I was hoping one of you might be able to advise please...

Thanks!

With a v.sharp knife! Xmas Grin

Seriously though - use a Stanley or similar to cut to size, but leave a small gap around the edges for any expansion in warmer weather.

Saw?

run some fairy liquid down where you want to cut it then a stanley knife will glide through it

Hi

Thanks for the replies. The mats seem quite thick to cut with a stanley knife but I will buy one and give it a go! And failing that, a saw.

Cheers!
