Just wondering if anyone else is planning on going ? Was thinking we could have a little meet up if so ?
Butkin · 26/09/2012 17:59
Possibly - I'll have just returned from Breeders' Cup in LA so need to work out what we're doing with the animals that weekend.
Been before and it was quite fun although we're looking forward to HOYS and Olympia more.
Alameda · 26/09/2012 19:52
what a good idea, is it after half term do you think?
CMOTDibbler · 26/09/2012 19:55
Yes, its November 10/11, and half term is first week of November Alameda.
You do live a glam life Butkin. I'm sure HOYS is exciting for you, but ds and I like a wander round Your Horse, and the arena displays are good. And the shopping
Butkin · 26/09/2012 20:04
Shopping is great - too tempting!
I have to admit we last went there about 5 years ago and it is probably much improved now. We really like being able to watch actual competitions but yes the displays are very good - Carl Hester and Mary King should be outstanding.
Just checked our diaries and we may go although probably preferring to go the Cheltenham shopping fest jumps meeting on the Sunday unless the weather looks bad.

dappleton · 27/09/2012 10:05
butkin - breeders cup - my husband would die of envy if he knew, flat racing seems to take over this house!
Butkin · 27/09/2012 10:44
Dappleton - yes I'm very lucky - haven't missed a Breeders' Cup since 1986! Delighted that it will be in LA this and next - much nicer than Louisville!
