I saw war horse alone, what WAS I thinking?
it's going to be difficult not to squeal at all the yard and field shots - in the trailer alone there are our stables, muck heap (!), FIELD, cart track, the granary thing (with sheep that all escaped, am desperate to see that scene because at the time all you could hear was a spaniel chorus from the house they were all locked in)
miss the film crew a bit actually, must be about a year since they finished
I had a go on one of them, did I tell you?

I will only admit this to you so hopefully nobody else is listening but it looks slightly shit 
but think it will still be better than war horse because hopefully not as long, for one thing!

Reading Private Peaceful made me cry far more than War Horse did. Morpurgo's war stories are all amazing. I'm sure that this adaptation will be too.

yeah I found PP a much tearier read than war horse, but the play was so good
I liked the film enough to cry all the way through, even before the titles were up, but that is all part of it isn't it! anyway October 12th, not long now!
