I name changed a few days ago - just so you know was Amiees mum
Have posted before about my little wild welshie who was coming on a treat (untill friday)
We've had a little set back. About 3 weeks ago i turned her out with the rest of the mares for the first time since the rest of them went out for summer. She had been turned out next to her best friend untill then. As you may know she was a little bugger when i first got her, and no one could catch her (problem was solved pretty quickly when she knew she was being fed once we'd established some sort of bond.
Annnyway as i went to get her in friday (she was stood at the gate waiting like i good little pony) Anotherr lady was turning her pony out - and decided to shoo Dpony away using her lead road & head collar. in poor dponys faceWell poor little pony is not very trusting of people and obviously didn't like this. Had not been able to catch pony since... well untill today when she finally gave in. Have been able to get close to her providing i don't have a lead rope with me, But we appear to have gone back to square one :( Terrifed again, and very head shy. I finally managed to bribe her in today, by walking up to her 5 or 6 times during the day, givinng her a sweetie and walking away. I'm soooo blooming angry with this lady, am having to start all the work i've done all over again!!!!
Have asked DP (farmer) to sort it out :D once again i can see myself being very popular over the next few weeks.

Oh no.Hopefully it will be a minor set back for her and she'll soon come to realise that you aren't a threat.Sad for you though as it is awful when you've worked so hard to gain her trust only to have it ruined by someone being thoughtless.

Yup. Am so gutted! I know we'll get back on track... but this woman has a track record - personally i'm hoping DP kicks her off the yard (i know he wont) but still lol
