If you were looking for a horsebox, where would you look? Mine is not selling, and I need some ideas on where to advertise.

I was searching for them today. Looked at eBay and about four other sites that came up. Tbh, I was only looking at adverts with a proper photo and a full description.
I sort of got the impression it's a bit of a buyer's market ATM...! Where have you tried selling so far?

Had it on preloved, eBay and horsegossip. It's def a buyers market, I just need to attract a buyer who wants a safe wagon which is mechanically in excellent nick, and a safe floor rather than a pretty living and not bothered about the other stuff!

Pony club website? Local free ads? Local paper? Shop windows? What have you got and how much are you looking for?

It's a 2horse 7.5t daf...J Reg. I have it advertised at 4k, just been tested. Going to put it on local riding club sites next I think, hadn't thought of pony club though..thanks

As a general rule we look at Horsequest for ponies and Horse and Hound for boxes. However an older, cheaper box could go on Pony Club and Riding Club sites plus maybe thing about whatever is the local rider magazine for your area (ours is Absolute Horse).

Local tack shops usually have an ad board which would be worth considering. Also vet's, riding school, livery yards ...

frostyfingers · 14/07/2012 09:12

Are you still using it? Perhaps when you go to an event you could stick a laminated ad on the windscreen?

I found mine on horsequest, huge range on there.
