hi I need for very occasional use. Anyone have good experience with mark Todd winton coat? I don't need the weight of a waxed as for summer riding. Thanks

Mine was a cheap one from Robinsons. About £20. Bargain!

It may be a bit too stylish, but I have got a gorgeous knee length pale blue mac by Barbour that I got secondhand on Ebay for £20. It is completely waterproof and very comfortable and you can bung it in the washing machine. I can't bring myself to wear it riding as I am a magnet for green slime and other horse spitty colours, but if you stay cleanish it may be an option (I've seen others on ebay since for around the same money).

I got a long one from Countrywide, it's quite lightweight and I've used it alot this summer. I bought a slightly larger size so that come the winter I can get a fleece underneath!
