What colour show jacket?

I need a new showjacket and can't really afford to buy several different ones for different occasions. I want one mainly to jump a red chestnut pony in but wouldn't mind some really low-level dressage. I have considered wearing one when showing in-hand but choose to wear a waistcoat most of time but sometimes it can be so cold/wet! Don't know whether to just shiver and buy a flashy (looking) one or go for tweed/ He's a smart little pony that is like a sportshorse that got shrunk in the wash and the show pony is a bay M&M. Thanks

tweed is fine for in hand classes but you need navy or black for showing/dressage I think

Tweed covers everything!! Technically correct for nearly all showing classes and for lower level dressage.
