Anyone seen them?

Saw them today at the Hadleigh show. Pretty impressive (I speak as someone who never mastered the running mount) but IMO a little bit spoilt by the ringmaster/presenter who insisted in rambling away in a fake American accent and trying to encourage the crowd to whoop and clap, in the manner of Pantomime.

I'd have been far more entertained and interested to hear the history of the horses, most of whom are apparently rescued from the slaughterhouse or similar.

I think he put people off rather than draw them in.

I haven't seen them, but they sound interesting. I was nearly working there today too, got sent somewhere else instead! there Are a couple of good jousting teams about, one appears quite often at Hedingham Castle, and I've seen the other at Southend, and possibly Ipswich Showground, when the Robin hood Game fair is on.

I'd LOVE a go at jousting!

There is a very good team that we've seen at various game fairs,that are based in Warwick.They do 'have a go days' but you have to be over 18,the dds were most disappointed.

I think they might be one of the teams I've seen? Is there one that dresses all sort of oriental? Mongolian maybe?
