Hi due to family problems we are having to cut down on the amount of minis we have. We have got on e brood mare in foal for april next year a colt filly two year old mare 8year old mare and 4 year old. They are all show quality apart from the brood mare.

Hi thanks Mitchie noluck yet. to top it all we lost a foal last night as well. Someone might take oneof the brood mares as a pet but i think they will just but her in there garden and treat her like a dog so dont think its a good idea!!

They're quite specialist creatures aren't they, there must be people out there who know how to let them be horses?

She had something wrong with her liver.She wasnt right from the start but i thought she was getting better and then she was dead when i went tocheck on her.
There must be people who know how to let them be horses. Maybe someone who wants a freind for another horse. We are at a show next week so will let people know whats happend and maybe they might go that way. I really dont want them to go though.

:( might you be able to have them back again at some point? You have probably already exhausted all possible ways of keeping them, just wondered if they could go on loan. Is there a miniature horse society of some kind?

I have one out on loan at the moment and she will stay there. Its just so expensive at the moment, and my dh has not got much work at the moment.
There is a society so will chat to them at the show
