can this be put on open wounds or do I have to wait for the wounds to heal? They are at the base of the pony's mane

I don't know for sure, but I probably wouldn't. I didn't think you could get it anymore because it's carcinogenic! Is this for sweet itch? Or just general scratching? Have yOu checked for lice? You could also try giving piriton. My friend gives his 14,2 six tablets. he was told to do this by the vet.

Is this still available? I thought it had been banned from use ages ago. Personally, I wouldn't put it on an open wound, try and apply it around the area. I'm guessing you're using it for sweet itch? Have you tried a sweet itch rug: www.sweet-itch.co.uk/boett.html
