She rode one of our old ponies that has recently come back to my Grandparents, at the weekend.

Just wanted to show off

I can see her! She looks great, and as far as I can tell on this tiny screen very pleased with herself! Is that a dartmoor?

That is Hector, he was bought semi wild from the moors about 18yrs ago by my grandma as a companion. So technically yes he is a Dartmoor, but not stud book standard!

She had a lovely time, Hector - TROT!!!!! poor pony (and me!) were knackered

She is 3, but will have to wait for a year or two before she gets her own, i can't afford 3 horses at livery!

I sat my grandson on a dartmoor last week, he cried when we lifted him off and stopped when he was back on. Obviously at 6 weeks he wasn't up to much but he really liked sitting there :)

Start them young Mitchie! I'm hoping to introduce my 6 month old GS to ponies soon, but DIL is scared of them, so I could end up in AIBU too (as a MIL thread as well!)

DD was sat on a TB at 4m, DS hasn't been on one yet (at 7m )
