Sharer for 16.2 Puttenham, Surrey

Hi
Due to change in circumstances am looking for an experienced sharer for my lovely 16.2 Irish mare. She is at grass livery in Puttenham - great hacking which is all I really do with her currently. She is a lovely, fun, safe ride. Alternate weekends and 3 days pw if wanted. Anyone know anyone?

Bump...

Asking around again - had one enquiry from Russian lady who wanted a horse to teach her boyfriend to trot, nothing else...

So tempting Bradsmum - I'm in Milford - so not far at all. But a) i need to get my riding skills back up the scratch after a very long break and b) i work full-time up in Lonodon and have 2 children and I think DH would go nuts if I took something else on as I already struggle to find free time.

Really hope you find someone though and I will ask around - I know a few horsey people in Milford / Elstead area who are dusting the cobwebs off their riding boots and have been riding (along with me) recently on the ex-race horses up at 'hacking with a difference' on the way to Cranleigh.

Bumping for you Bradsmum, I'm in Puttenham too, on Suffield Lane. Haven't got enough time to ride the ex race horse that I share as it is, after arrival of first child 7 months ago, or I would be very tempted!! Good luck finding someone!

Bradsmum, it's just a pipedream for me, really, Sad - but could you spell out how it would work, please? Does it mean the sharer would just exercise her?

Bradsmum · 05/05/2011 22:53

Thanks for all your messages. Have now moved her to Headley (J9 M25) and still looking for sharer.... but much better facilities and can hack on Epsom Downs.

Handbag - I used to ride at HWAD - expensive!! Much prefer mine to ride - she's not nutty!

theweescowlyone - generally a sharer would exercise and contribute to costs - basically treat the horse as "theirs" too.

So, anyone?

Hi Sarah, I don't know if Bradsmum is still around as the thread is from Jan 2011. Maybe try messaging her?
