And what do you consider bare minimum essentials to have at all times?

Scissors, vetwrap, sterile water ampoules, wound powder, sudocreme, gamgee, cotton wool, gloves, weight tape, hibiscrub, purple spray, animalex poultice, cold wrap and bute. All in plastic box with vet's number on it.

For humans, plasters, tubigrip, triangular bandage, scissors, Dr's number and ibuprofen.

Don't take it everywhere, hacking first aid kit in saddle bag is vet and Dr's numbers, plasters, triangular bandage, wound wash, ve-wrap, wound pads and scissors.

Probably should carry gin and valium also at all times given the current state of my riding nerve!

Don't forget the thermometer!
