Chaps! I need chaps advice

What size does DD need please. She's a long legged 11yr old. For example the ones in the link below. S M and L isn't all that helpful!

Oh come on! Someone must know about chaps.

Depends as Chaps come in all sizes depending on brand. That link is not working either.
Measure her calf and length of leg and then take her in and try them on?

S,M & L is no use if they do not have a size guide with them.

So it isn't! I can't get it to work.

OK. Thanks. They were going to be a surprise extra christmas present so I didn't want to take her with me. I will have to surreptitiously measure her.
