Things are going really well on the horse front and I just have to share. gloat
I've managed to find a lovely new paddock for my spare girls, it's a lovely little seventeenth century churchyard. The people are lovely and they have 3 small boys who seem delightful and I'm hoping will help keep the girls busy.
We went to stay with our riding instructor friend in the midlands at the weekend, she's amazing and had arranged for her pony club, we are honorary members, to have lessons from the luscious Jo Whittaker.
And nicest of all, I've found an interesting chap locally to give DD lessons and help my friend with her young, slightly gimpy warmblood. He is really nice and has amazing credentials, a qualified vet, and qualifier for the Czechoslovakian Olympic equestrian team. He is really reasonably priced and very calm/natural horsemanshipish, just the way we like it.
It's so nice for things to be going nicely for a change!
