Is anyone going to Olympia this year? Do you stay over, if so can you suggest somewhere?

I'm going but it's a coach trip just for the day (saturday). We've never stayed over, usually get a late train home as the station is right opposite the show.

We went last year, but stayed at the Marriot County Hall as I had Marriot points to use.
We had a fab time, and DS will break up from school just in time to go on Friday afternoon this year

We always take DD on the Monday morning (the day they have the Mountain and Moorland finals). We all love it and book our tickets early to get our favourite seats (the ones that overlook the entrance to the arena so she can look over and watch them warming up.
We live in Suffolk though so commute. Last year by train (bit of a nightmare) so this year by car I think.

we went to the monday evening show and very nearly got stranded by the snow. dh was going to pick us up but instead we managed to get the last train out.

Badkitten - almost snap. We left after the afternoon show on the Monday and found ourselves in thick snow.
Couldn't get a cab so walked to tube through the slush and eventually got to Liverpool Street only for trains back to Cambridge to be either cancelled or running over an hour late.
Was hellish - hence the demand to go by car this year!

It was terrible wasn't it!!! I honestly thought we would end up sleeping at clapham overnight.
