thinking of returning to the classroom - any tips?

I've had a 15 year break from education work whilst i raised my kids. Done various jobs in the interim, all of which have some elements of transferrable skills or relevant focus to education.
Anyone else had such a lengthy break? Any tips? Ideas? Suggestions? I'm secondary trained.

A lot has changed since 2011/12 - I’d look to get some supply work first to get you back into the swing of things and then maybe look at applying for posts. You may think that going back to teaching permanently is not right for you.
