Interview confusion

I have completed my ECT Year 1 and I have eventually been shortlisted to attend interview for a reception class teacher. This is what they have sent, “This will consist of a teaching task, as outlined in an attached document, a one-to-one task, a written task and a formal interview”. What will the one to one and written task be? Am I having to do a test of some kind or work one to one with a child. I’m confused but don’t want to appear stupid for asking the school!
thanks in advance

The one to one task could be a role play type task discussing a topic with a TA or a child with the SENCO possibly. The written task could be planning, writing a report comment or something like an email reply to a parent.
Try not to overthink it. Everyone will be in the same situation. They certainly make you jump through hoops these days.

Thank you for that. Definitely overthinking it all. It’s not even for a permanent post!

Good luck and just give it your best shot. Generally they will probably just want to know how well you handle certain situations. That’s a lot for a post that isn’t permanent.
