Interview private school y5

Thinking ahead for a job interview. Is the curriculum taught for that year group in private schools? Need to teach a year 5 lesson in maths. Should I prepare it related to the state year 5 curriculum or pitch higher towards y6? I don't know any class data. School goes up to y6

You could ask ahead of time for some information about the class. I would say choose something from the year 5 curriculum, think of a fun and/or practical way of teaching it and be prepared to stretch some bright kids with lateral thinking and trickier word problems. Good luck!
