It depends on the age group. I teach Reception so stamps like that are useless for me as most of the children can't read them. If it's for someone teaching younger children, personalised stickers are far more useful. Little ones love a sticker to indicate they have done well. It's also a more 'in the moment' reward, same as house points etc.
The stamp I do use and find useful/a time saver is a stack of 3, saying Teacher Assisted, TA Assisted or Independent. It's in our marking policy that this needs to be indicated, so a stamp is much more convenient that writing it every time.
Another one I use a lot is a plain gold star (no words). It's a skinny stamp, looks like a pen. I use it to acknowledge parent's comments in the reading diary, and also to indicate when something in the child's work is evidence towards a personal target. Again, it saves time rather than writing comments (unless a response is necessary).
Marking should be purposeful, so stamps should be useful as opposed to just 'nice'. Otherwise it could actually become extra work if you're using stamps just for the sake of it.
