I've nearly completed an application to be a GCSE examiner for maths for next year, but a bit hesitant about submitting just yet.
I have written a supporting statement to say why I'm interested, that I've been teaching maths in secondary school and college, adding that I'm familiar with the spec, can apply mark scheme when marking mock papers, meet tight deadlines etc
Is there anything else I've missed?
I'm not in it for the money as I am aware how poorly paid it is, but it will definitely be worth it for informing my teaching as we've only been with this board for a year.
