Should this have been logged on cpoms?

Nit a teacher so apologies however, I don’t have much knowledge of what should be logged and what shouldn’t.
I recently requested my cpoms records from a few years back and realised an event was missing. It was a disclosure from someone else that I was being abused and had been threatened with a certain weapon by a parent (that wouldn’t be in it I’m aware) and I wrote a statement confirming the aforementioned event happened. They contacted the other parent who could’ve possibly denied it however, I do think it should have still been recorded and therefore will be somewhere
just wanted more background info before I go in all guns blazing
TIA

It ought to have been recorded as it is a significant safeguarding disclosure. However, that is not the same as saying it should have been recorded on CPOMS. If it led to a referral to social services, the record may be on a referral document sent to social services. If a social worker was already involved, it may be in an email to the social worker.

Best practice would be for the above documents to be attached to a CPOMS entry. But they haven't definitely done something wrong and it would depend on school policies.

What do you mean “that wouldn’t be in I am aware” tbh it’s quite confusing.

How old were you and who made the disclosure, when and to whom. When is the alleged abuse and threat with a weapon alleged to have happened and did it happen.

What follow up happened? When did you file the statement and to whom.

What is the aforementioned event?
