One minute male staff talk to me and the next they ignore me.

I’m kinda a shy woman. There’s a few guys at work that speak to me one minute and ignore me the next. The one guy we used to have a few laughs but now nothing. Then I see him having a laugh and joke with other female staff. Am I reading too much into this?

I genuinely don't think your male colleagues would be consciously altering their behaviour, men generally don't seem as deeply reflective/introspective about these minor interactions?
If I think about myself at work, some days if I've got loads on or a heavy day then I might be less chatty or seem a bit off just because I'm preoccupied, other days maybe if I've got more time I might stop for a chat or have more mental energy for humour.
I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it ❤️
